Acupuncturist

Responsibilities

• Administer high-quality acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatments to guests
• Conduct patient consultations to inform and educate clients about specific wellness concerns
• Manage multiple treatment rooms and maintain accurate medical records
• Recommend acupuncture treatments and provide outstanding guest service
• Perform 10-minute consultations regarding acupuncture and Chinese herbs
• Present Traditional Chinese Medicine topics through public speaking or seminars
• Maintain inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

Requirements

• Valid US state license and/or NCCAOM certification (or educationally equivalent international qualification)
• Minimum of 2,000 hours of classroom and clinical study in acupuncture
• Ability to conduct initial consultations and treatments in under 20 minutes
• Fluency in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid passport (within 6 months of expiry from contract end date)
• Ability to pass a maritime medical exam and be declared fit to work
• Eligibility for a United States C1/D Visa (if not a US citizen)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a sales-oriented environment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse, multicultural team
• Basic computer proficiency
