Actuario Sr.

Responsibilities

• Execute, develop, and interpret reserve and reinsurance calculations across various lines of business to ensure compliance with established rules and contracts.
• Ensure data quality for STAT and GAAP reserve processes by coordinating with IT, Data, Operations, and Accounting departments.
• Implement and propose process efficiencies and updates to reserve methodologies based on policy and product analysis.
• Perform automated and controlled reserve calculations, ensuring reliable results and timely accounting entries.
• Propose and execute controls for reserve processes to guarantee accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory reports regarding reserve status and GAAP reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science (Licenciatura en Actuaría).
• Intermediate English proficiency.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, FOX, or R.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Life Insurance reserve valuation.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Actuarial Models or Life Insurance risks.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical areas of insurance companies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Prophet software.
