Actuarial Reserving Intern

Responsibilities

• Support the actuarial closing process through data preparation, validation, and treatment for provision calculations
• Perform reconciliations and quality controls on information
• Participate in modeling and projecting smaller business lines using ResQ actuarial software
• Analyze results and monitor deviations
• Collaborate on process optimization and automation initiatives using Excel, Python, or SAS
• Support the implementation of improvements in reporting, efficiency, and data quality

Requirements

• Student of Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VBA is a plus)
• Intermediate English level for documentation and communication
• Knowledge of programming or data analysis tools such as SAS or Python
• Ability to sign a 12-month university internship agreement

• Strong analytical capacity and attention to detail
• Proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn
• Interest in the actuarial or insurance industry
• Ability to work effectively within a team
