Actuarial Pensions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on UK defined benefit pensions work across trustee and corporate assignments
• Support valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews
• Contribute to projects including integrated risk management, liability management, GMP equalisation, and journey planning
• Work on plan design strategy, asset and liability modelling, and mergers and acquisitions
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate within a supportive team
• Mentor junior colleagues and help develop their technical and consulting skills

Requirements

• Experience in UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work
• IFoA nearly/newly qualified or qualified actuary
• Strong client-service orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven delegation skills and a willingness to coach and mentor others
• Accountable, self-starting, and able to think beyond immediate tasks
