Actuarial Pensions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Contribute to UK Defined Benefit pensions work, including regular valuations, accounting, and PPF levies
• Provide advice on individual calculations, factor reviews, and innovative project management
• Engage in diverse projects such as integrated risk management, liability management, and plan design strategy
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues to support their professional development
• Manage projects through effective delegation and strong organizational skills
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships within a team environment

Requirements

• Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work
• IFoA nearly/newly qualified or fully qualified actuary
• Strong client-service orientation and ability to deliver impactful interactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven delegation skills and a desire to mentor others
• Self-starter mindset with a sense of accountability and ownership
