Actuarial Pensions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Contribute to UK Defined Benefit pensions work, including regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies, and individual calculations
• Engage in diverse projects such as integrated risk management, liability management, GMP equalisation, and plan design strategy
• Support clients through asset and liability modelling, journey planning, and mergers and acquisitions
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues to support their professional development
• Manage projects effectively through strong delegation and organizational skills

Requirements

• Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work
• IFoA nearly/newly qualified or fully qualified actuary
• Strong client-service orientation and ability to deliver impactful interactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to delegate and a desire to coach others
• Self-starter mindset with a sense of accountability and ownership
