Actuarial Pensions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on regular valuations, accounting, PPF levies, individual calculations, and factor reviews
• Contribute to innovative projects including integrated risk management, liability management, and plan design strategy
• Support asset and liability modelling, journey planning, and mergers and acquisitions
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues to develop their professional skills
• Manage projects through effective delegation and strong organizational skills
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships within a diverse team environment

Requirements

• Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work
• IFoA nearly/newly qualified or fully qualified actuary
• Strong client-service orientation and ability to deliver impactful interactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to delegate and a desire to mentor others
• Self-starter mindset with a sense of accountability and professional pride
