Actuarial Pensions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Contribute to UK Defined Benefit pensions work, including regular valuations, accounting, and PPF levies
• Support diverse client projects such as integrated risk management, liability management, and plan design strategy
• Assist with asset and liability modelling, GMP equalisation, and mergers and acquisitions projects
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues to support their professional development
• Manage projects effectively through strong delegation and organizational skills

Requirements

• Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work
• IFoA nearly/newly qualified or fully qualified actuary
• Strong client-service orientation and professional accountability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for impactful client interactions
• Proven ability to delegate tasks and a desire to mentor others
