Actuarial Pensions Consultant

Responsibilities

• Contribute to UK Defined Benefit pensions work, including regular valuations, accounting, and PPF levies
• Support diverse client assignments covering both trustee and corporate needs
• Engage in innovative projects such as integrated risk management, liability management, and plan design strategy
• Assist with asset and liability modelling, GMP equalisation, and mergers and acquisitions
• Mentor and coach junior colleagues to support their professional development
• Manage projects through effective delegation and strong organizational skills

Requirements

• Experience working as a pension actuary on core UK defined benefit pensions actuarial work
• IFoA nearly/newly qualified or fully qualified actuary
• Strong client-service orientation and ability to deliver impactful interactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to delegate and a desire to mentor others
• Self-starter mindset with a sense of accountability and ownership
