Actuarial Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop the market-leading Igloo Standard Model (ISM) used globally for capital modelling and reinsurance pricing
• Work with clients and partners to design, develop, and implement new technologies and statistical techniques
• Contribute to Igloo product development and collaborate with the development team to shape the future of the platform
• Operate at the forefront of stochastic modelling across a broad and growing variety of applications

Requirements

• Newly or nearly qualified actuary or equivalent
• Experience in reinsurance pricing or capital modelling
• Coding expertise in Python or Igloo (demonstrable interest in coding and AI)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a numerical-based field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational abilities and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
