Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Deliver work in accordance with project deadlines to meet client expectations
• Collaborate with associates and consultants to determine data needs and examine client information
• Develop a deep understanding of the insurance industry, including reserving, pricing, and capital management
• Prepare first drafts of reports for review by Senior Analysts and Consultants
• Utilize proprietary software solutions to support actuarial activities
• Identify opportunities to increase efficiency and improve processes within project teams
• Participate in key learning and development opportunities
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients across various geographies
• Contribute to sales and marketing efforts by drafting proposals and preparing presentations

Requirements

• Currently in the final year of a bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or a related analytical subject
• Strong inclination towards pursuing a career in actuarial science and making progress through actuarial examinations
• Strong analytical, integrative, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage priorities and respond to communications in a timely manner
• Self-motivated learner with a proactive and energetic approach
