About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with research and marketing projects in the Property & Casualty and Health fields
- Support regular reserving and pricing projects
- Assist with IFRS17 related projects
- Understand, operate, and modify complex spreadsheet tools
- Present results to peers, project managers, and client relationship managers
- Draft written reports and prepare internal/external correspondence
- Prepare and document project files
Requirements
- Degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Risk Management)
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese Mandarin
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office spreadsheets and database applications
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Fresh graduate (2026) or 1-2 years of industry experience in Property & Casualty or Health fields
- Experience with research projects
- Knowledge of R, SQL, or Python
