Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical models and analytical methodologies for product pricing proposals and customer/object scoring.
• Perform loss analysis and develop predictive models to reduce claims and understand market behavior.
• Manage databases for the Analytics area by downloading, cleaning, and transforming data in the cloud.
• Support the generation and automation of reports for internal clients to track commercial metrics and technical loss ratios.
• Analyze historical data regarding issuance, claims, and collections to provide business intelligence.
• Provide information and tools to Implementation and Underwriting areas to monitor the profitability of SME fleets.
• Create and update auto insurance products to improve operational efficiency and meet annual premium goals.

Requirements

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
• Knowledge of pivot tables and creating projects using flowcharts.
• English reading comprehension skills.
• Experience or interest in Data Science.
