Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical models and analytical methodologies to optimize Life insurance business processes
• Analyze data to generate insights for continuous improvement of operational and commercial processes
• Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the Individual Life business
• Execute portfolio behavior analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Generate and automate executive reports for internal stakeholders
• Manage and structure databases for the Analytics area, including data extraction, transformation, and cleaning in cloud environments
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Finance, Tax, Audit, and Commercial to ensure data quality and consistency

Requirements

• Recent graduate with a degree in Actuarial Science
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-oriented and structured thinking approach
• Proficiency in SQL and Advanced Excel
• Solid understanding of actuarial fundamentals, including probability and statistics
• Ability to prepare executive reports and present information clearly
• Interest in developing a career within the insurance sector, specifically in Individual Life insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic or practical experience in database management and statistical analysis
• Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools
• Previous experience or knowledge of the insurance industry
