Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist with updating the quarterly Reserving process
• Assist with Pricing models and ad hoc Pricing modelling of insurance accounts
• Complete project work including Binder Management modelling
• Update key management information reports
• Assist with the Reporting of Arch Insurance International’s results to Senior Management and External parties

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (actuarial science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, economics, or operations research)
• 0-2 years of casualty actuarial work experience
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages like Excel
• Experience with reporting packages (Business Objects) and databases (SQL, Snowflake)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, Python, or R
• Ability to capture, organize, and statistically model data
