Activities Coordinator, Memory Care

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, oversee, and implement community programming to enhance the resident experience
• Develop and cultivate relationships with current residents, families, and community organizations
• Oversee the scheduling of events, trips, meetings, rooms, and group functions
• Develop, promote, and coordinate community events
• Edit, produce, and distribute a monthly community newsletter
• Implement specialized programs designed to meet the psychological, social, physical, and spiritual needs of memory care residents

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aging and dementia care
• Proven experience developing robust program calendars for persons with dementia
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
