Activities Aide

Responsibilities

• Keep short-term stay residents engaged in recovery and rehabilitation
• Provide life enrichment events for long-term residents focused on cognitive and memory retention
• Lead exercise groups, play card games, or read to residents
• Provide compassion and companionship to residents

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Computer knowledge
• Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as an activity aide in a long-term care facility
