Active Directory Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced authentication and directory solutions to strengthen enterprise security posture.
• Deploy and manage LDAP/Directory Services for authentication, authorization, and infrastructure issue resolution.
• Support and administer large-scale Active Directory environments, including multi-domain forests and cloud/on-prem integrations.
• Automate Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical reports and presentations.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Expertise in directory services and authentication protocols, specifically Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.
• Proficiency in automation and integration using APIs (Radiant Logic, Okta, Entra) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Strong technical skills in AD and LDAP, including attributes, queries, GPO configuration, and DNS.
• Experience with server and infrastructure management, including Windows Server (2016–2025) and Linux environments.
• Experience with PKI and SSL certificate management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead identity-related troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Splunk for usage reporting, auditing, and logging within Directory Services products.
