Activations Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out station in-field promotions and special events
• Set up promotional items, banners, tables, tents, and sound equipment for remotes and station appearances
• Support On-Air Talent and Sales Executives with on-site requests, contests, and prize distribution
• Interface with clients, listeners, and the general public to provide excellent customer service
• Drive station vehicles, including oversized trucks and vans, to event locations
• Maintain the appearance of station vehicles and promotional equipment
• Conduct on-air announcements from remote locations in Spanish
• Load and unload equipment and promotional items, ensuring all items are returned after events

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (ability to read, write, and speak effectively)
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, promotions, or as a brand ambassador
• Knowledge of digital social media and current trends
• Entry-level video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut)
