Acting SIL Site Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Support Workers with consistency and professionalism
• Promote person-centred, active support that empowers client choice and control
• Oversee daily operations of SIL accommodation services
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for staff and clients
• Support NDIS plan development and client independence
• Manage performance and resolve conflicts effectively
• Stay connected to the service through two billable shifts each week
• Encourage reflective practice to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Minimum Certificate IV or equivalent in Social Services or a relevant domain (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Disability, Mental Health, or Community Services)
• Strong knowledge of disability legislation and NDIS standards, including the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework
• Valid NSW Driver's License
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) and Working with Children Check (WWCC)
