About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate quality requirements, processes, and practices into the development and manufacturing of workstation products.
  • Analyze new product designs and specifications to identify potential quality issues and minimize failure risks.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality and reduce defects.
  • Gather and track quality-related performance metrics, reviewing test data and process results to identify trends.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outsourced manufacturing partners to implement process changes and lower costs.
  • Represent the quality engineering team during all phases of complex development and manufacturing projects.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to less-experienced staff members to promote excellence in quality engineering.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 4-7 years of work experience in quality assurance, reliability, or a related field (or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of experience).
  • Strong expertise in Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis and knowledge of ISO 9000 series standards.
  • Experience with New Product Development (NPD) and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile Methodology and Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Experience with Test Automation and Test Planning.
  • Skills in Risk Management and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Proficiency in Project Management and Digital Fluency.
