About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and supervision of chemical operators to ensure smooth manufacturing operations
- Manage and prioritize EHS performance, including housekeeping and 5S practices
- Supervise, coach, and develop operators and temporary employees in manufacturing processes
- Provide technical assistance and serve as the first line of support for processing issues
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure adherence to production schedules across plants
- Coordinate communication flow within and outside the department to ensure effective collaboration
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of production experience in the chemical industry
- Chemical Operator A or B level certification/experience
- Ability to wear full face PPE (must be clean shaven)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using SAP
- Experience using TotalChrom
