Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support acquisition planning and execution, including development of acquisition strategies and market research
• Act as a business advisor to internal customers regarding contract types, methods, and competitive strategies
• Prepare solicitations, evaluate proposals, and perform cost/price analysis
• Assist in source selection pre-award functions and prepare necessary contract-related documentation
• Manage post-award contract administration, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, and policies
• Resolve issues arising during contract performance and review invoices for accuracy

Requirements

• 5 years of Federal Government contract experience
• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
• Experience supporting competitive procurements and contract awards
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Acquisition Management, or a related field
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an adjudicated polygraph
• Strong written communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• DAWIA Level II or equivalent acquisition certification
• Experience with IDIQs, BPAs, and task order competitions
• Experience working with Intelligence Community customers
