Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities for Bosch Engineering’s engineering services portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with innovative mobility companies, startups, and established automotive customers.
• Engage with engineering, purchasing, and executive stakeholders to understand technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Bosch technical experts to shape solutions, prepare quotations, and drive proposals through to successful acquisition.
• Monitor industry trends in electrification, automated driving, and software-defined vehicles.
• Travel approximately 20% domestically and internationally for customer meetings and industry events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in technical sales, engineering services, or mobility technologies.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems (e.g., powertrain, electrification, ADAS, or embedded software).
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer engagement and industry events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) or Business Administration.
• Experience in technical sales, business development, or engineering services within the automotive industry.
• Familiarity with automotive development processes and vehicle systems.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles involving negotiation with OEMs or suppliers.
