About the role
Responsibilities
- Prospect and onboard new, high-quality professional hosts to build and manage a strong pipeline in Italy
- Create and deploy scalable strategies to effectively acquire professional inventory in your assigned territory
- Represent Airbnb in external meetings as a credible and knowledgeable market expert
- Analyze data to identify and act on strategic opportunities to drive sales growth
- Build and manage long-term relationships with strategic partners and professional hosts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, communications, and public policy teams to ensure market success
- Educate clients on product changes and provide feedback to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in sales
- Proven experience in B2B sales and new business development
- Strong data analysis skills and the ability to make decisions based on results
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Proficiency in using CRM software (Salesforce experience is a plus)
- Fluency in both Italian and English
- Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels in ambiguous environments
- Willingness to travel to assigned markets
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the hospitality or travel industry
- Local market expertise within the Italian hospitality sector
