About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for Passenger Information Systems (PACIS) from the tender phase through deployment
- Launch RFQs to the Alstom supplier panel in accordance with procurement strategies and validated packages
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure optimal Quality, Cost, and Delay (QCD) requirements
- Present Business Awards to internal stakeholders or submit procurement commitments during the tender phase
- Establish legal contracts with selected suppliers in collaboration with the Legal department
- Define and manage supplier contractual commitments regarding Life Cycle Cost and maintenance
- Monitor cost variations during development and deployment phases
- Optimize costs through technical levers and redesign initiatives
- Monitor supplier risks related to QCD and prepare mitigation plans
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of procurement experience within a complex industrial environment
- Proficiency in SAP is required
- Fluent in English
- Strong contract management skills and interest in legal framework implementation
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Ability to work with rigor in a high-stakes industrial setting
