About the role
Responsibilities
- Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment including single-phase and three-phase stators, rotors, fields, and coils
- Dismantle and strip damaged equipment using media blasting
- Inspect equipment for winding damage and electrical malfunctions
- Document electromagnetic characteristics, operating conditions, and test results
- Test rewound equipment according to EASA Standards
- Operate repair and testing equipment including winding machines, surge testers, Hipot, and VPI systems
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of winding experience
- Ability to perform basic math functions including fractions
- Ability to read and comprehend complex written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of small machine shop machines
- Ability to operate machinery and hoists
