Accredited Practising Dietitian

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload and deliver participant education via a telehealth model
• Carry out standardized, evidence-based assessments
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including participating in case conferencing
• Report to referrers and/or patients' medical teams
• Monitor delivery of care by documenting progress and reviewing care plans with patients and providers
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and technological security measures
• Maintain participant confidentiality and respect rights

Requirements

• More than 4 years of experience in client work within private, community, or hospital settings
• Registered with Dietitians Australia (DA) as an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
• Familiarity with telehealth service provision
• Access to a stable, private internet connection
• Possession of a PC or laptop equipped with a camera and microphone

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with oncology clients
• Experience working within various funding models (e.g., private health insurance, Medicare, occupational rehabilitation)
• Previous experience in telehealth or digital healthcare environments
• Strong competence in using information technology, including electronic medical records and database packages
• Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills
