Accounts Receivable Team Lead - PI/WC

Responsibilities

• Process and enter all new Personal Injury/Work Comp cases according to department protocols
• Receive and review all records before providing to external customers
• Audit cases that are still open and pending with insurance companies
• Research basic state laws regarding liens, settlements, and claims
• Demonstrate knowledge of the claims process for personal injury and work comp
• Utilize EHRs and department software effectively
• Maintain and monitor phone calls, messages, and detailed logs
• Monitor compliance regarding HIPAA rules and laws

Requirements

• 2+ years of claims, billing, or revenue cycle experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
• 1+ year of experience utilizing Waystar as a Clearinghouse and Denial Management Tool
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work professionally across multiple departments
