Responsibilities
- Review AR aging and prioritize at-risk accounts
- Resolve complex denials, discrepancies, and underpayments
- Validate payer reimbursement against contract terms
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Document and improve workflows and AR processes
- Handle escalated high-dollar insurance follow-ups
- Train staff, conduct audits, and support quality assurance
- Communicate with payers and internal leadership on claim issues
Requirements
- 4–6 years of revenue cycle or accounts receivable experience
- Advanced knowledge of payer guidelines and medical billing
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
