Accounts Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including credit management, billing, and cash application
• Analyze customer creditworthiness and approve new credit applications in line with company policy
• Generate, validate, and transmit customer invoices accurately against sales orders and contracts
• Process customer payments and apply cash remittances to open invoices
• Perform collections activities, including negotiating payment arrangements for overdue balances
• Reconcile AR activity and post transactions to the general ledger
• Investigate and resolve billing inquiries, disputes, deductions, and chargebacks
• Maintain customer master data and ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX standards
• Support month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, accruals, and aging analysis

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable
• Fluency in Spanish (minimum B2 level) and proficiency in English
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles such as GAAP or IFRS
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft D365 preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities

• Previous experience working in a shared services or multinational environment
