Accounts Receivable Specialist Intern

Responsibilities

• Perform bill reconciliation and exception handling for logistics costs and insurance premiums to ensure timely collections.
• Drive process optimization by analyzing settlement pain points and proposing system improvements or automation tools.
• Monitor contract terms and fund flows to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with business and technical departments to resolve settlement bottlenecks and provide data support.
• Conduct data analysis to produce settlement reports and identify operational risks or optimization opportunities.
• Manage accounts receivable aging and monitor bad debt to support efficient cash flow and financial stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to investigating discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Solid understanding of financial operations such as reconciliation, billing, collections, and cash flow management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and proactive mindset with an interest in automation and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python.
• Previous experience or interest in the e-commerce or logistics industries.
