Accounts Receivable Specialist I

Responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, balance sheets, and financial reports
• Analyze financial trends and conduct detailed financial analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records and complete financial transactions
• Investigate financial discrepancies and perform financial audits
• Develop financial models and prepare forecasts
• Use and maintain accounting systems
• Review and implement financial policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with SQL and Business Intelligence tools (such as Business Objects or Hyperion Essbase)
• Experience working with globally diverse teams
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or an advanced degree
• Knowledge of the travel industry and understanding of distribution business models
