About the role
Responsibilities
- Submit customer invoices through various portals to ensure timely payment
- Process cash receipts via EFT and credit card following established procedures
- Research and process valid customer refunds
- Communicate with branches regarding payment discrepancies and provide receipt/payment support
- Distribute Aged Trial Balance (ATB) reports with analysis of overdue amounts and expected payment dates
- Investigate and resolve client queries via phone and email
- Reconcile customer accounts using Sage Accounting Software
- Provide relief support for Accounts Payable functions when required
Requirements
- Associate degree in Accounting or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of accounts receivable processes
- Proven experience in general bookkeeping procedures
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications
- Completion of secondary school with satisfactory results in Mathematics
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in English
- Applicants currently studying for an accounting degree may be considered
