About the role
About the Company
Array Education is an innovation studio that supports, connects, and invests in teaching and learning projects starting with early literacy and continuing through the strong launch of a young person’s career. The Array central team provides shared services support to all of our programs, including financial, operations, HR, technology, and legal support services.
Responsibilities
- Execute A/R function for core programs, including preparing customer invoices and tracking outstanding A/R
- Monitor incoming payments and make related entries into the accounting system
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and assist with the monthly close process
- Provide monthly A/R reports to program staff and maintain reconciliation processes
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of vendor account records
- Support ongoing process improvement and the adoption of new tools and platforms
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 2-5 years of accounting or finance experience
- Proficiency with Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as a self-starter in an entrepreneurial environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with Accounts Receivable
