Accounts Receivable Representative

Responsibilities

• Work with customers regarding timely payments to minimize past due receivables
• Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Distribution, and Operations to resolve payment discrepancies
• Research unapplied cash and credits and reconcile them with customer invoices or deductions
• Utilize MS Excel for customer account research, statement creation, and account reconciliation
• Develop and sustain cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders through email and phone
• Review and release orders adhering to established company policies and procedures
• Utilize customer or third-party web portals for research and resolution of past due invoices

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or a related customer service role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze financial reports
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and time management abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
