Accounts Receivable Representative

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to ensure timely payments and minimize past-due receivables
• Collaborate with Sales, Distribution, and Operations teams to resolve payment discrepancies
• Research unapplied cash and credits, reconciling them with customer invoices or deductions
• Utilize MS Excel for customer account research, statement creation, and account reconciliation
• Develop and sustain cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders via email and phone
• Review and release orders according to company policies, engaging Risk and Sales teams when necessary
• Use customer or third-party web portals to research and resolve past-due invoices and deductions

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or a customer service role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and analyze financial reports
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
