About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain customer billing records and issue invoices within the ERP system
- Post cash receipts to customer accounts and manage daily ACH, Wire, and lockbox payments
- Ensure timely payments by contacting customers and collecting outstanding balances
- Research account disputes, billing discrepancies, and ensure proper accounting entries
- Partner with Business Units to ensure all orders are billed accurately and promptly
- Manage and audit approved CMRs, creating customer credits and rebills as required
- Create and maintain credit history files to identify risks of bad debt or financial exposure
- Perform month-end reporting, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and update metric reports
- Maintain and distribute daily sales tracking files
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years of related experience/training
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with JDE or a similar ERP platform
- Basic mathematical skills and intermediate computer skills
- Full professional English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing)
- High reasoning skills with the ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant accounting experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain environments
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage difficult or volatile situations
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction while maintaining high attention to detail
