Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via phone or email within an assigned portfolio to secure payments
• Maintain daily collection plan tasks to effectively manage past due accounts
• Follow up on payment arrangements and settlements
• Provide overviews of customer balances to senior leadership and recommend necessary next steps
• Advocate for customer needs and issues across various departments
• Review sales order forms, invoicing, payment history, and automatic payment portal configurations to resolve inquiries

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree (A.A.) in accounting, finance, or business administration, or equivalent experience
• Experience in customer service
• Experience in a call center environment
• Experience in collections
