Accounts Receivable Clerk

Responsibilities

• Generate, issue, and distribute client invoices with accuracy and adherence to timelines
• Reconcile customer accounts and individual client jobs, resolving discrepancies and unapplied payments
• Open and close client accounts/jobs and prepare time and cost estimates
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures for accounts receivable
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested
• Maintain ongoing communication with internal account and meetings teams

Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles (double-entry, accrual, cash basis)
• High integrity and discretion with sensitive financial information
• Prior exposure to accounting software platforms (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, SAP, Sage, Advantage) preferred
