Accounts Receivable Clerk

Responsibilities

• Process and refund credit card transactions
• Reconcile incoming funds and ensure correct allocation of customer payments
• Process daily collections and credit claims in the POS system
• Reconcile debtors’ accounts and process monthly debtor statements
• Manage debt collections via phone and email
• Manage trade credit insurance reporting, claims, and renewals
• Respond to and investigate customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Report to the Financial Controller on debt collection status and risk exposure
• Support the Finance and Sales teams

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar role or solid knowledge of double entries
• Excellent financial analytical skills
• Thorough attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
• Intermediate computer skills and fast typing abilities
• Excellent communication and people skills
• High integrity when handling sensitive and confidential information
• Full working rights in Australia
