Accounts Receivable Clerk

Responsibilities

• Process and refund credit card transactions
• Reconcile incoming funds and ensure correct allocation of customer payments
• Process daily collections and credit claims in the POS system
• Reconcile debtors' accounts and process monthly debtor statements
• Perform debt collections via phone and email
• Manage trade credit insurance reporting, claims, and renewals
• Respond to and investigate customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Report to the Financial Controller on debt collection status and risk exposure
• Support the Finance and Sales teams with administrative tasks

Requirements

• Prior experience in a similar accounts receivable role (candidates with solid double-entry knowledge will also be considered)
• Excellent financial analytical skills and attention to detail
• Intermediate computer skills and fast typing ability
• Strong communication and people skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with high integrity
• Full working rights in Australia
