Accounts Receivable Assistant

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer claims, deductions, and short payments to ensure accurate coding and timely resolution
• Manage the dispute lifecycle by investigating discrepancies and gathering supporting documentation from customers
• Utilize SAP AR and Dispute Management systems to create and update dispute cases
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit, Sales, and AR teams to resolve disputes and minimize financial risk
• Perform root-cause analysis on complex issues and prepare Excel-based data consolidations for reporting
• Process dispute write-offs and adjustments within approved authority levels and internal controls
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support process improvements

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Dispute Management, or Deductions
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
• Proficiency in ERP systems, with SAP experience strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills, including data consolidation and report creation
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Accounts Receivable processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting retail customers in the footwear, apparel, or outdoor industries
• Experience with Power BI and dispute/deduction reporting
