Accounts Receivable and Collections Analyst

Responsibilities

• Contact customers via telephone, email, and letter to encourage collection in assigned portfolios
• Maintain positive customer relationships and provide excellent service
• Log follow-up notes and contact history within NetSuite and Salesforce
• Handle financial requests and AR position cases via Salesforce
• Reduce DSO and bad debt expense for the assigned portfolio
• Support daily cash applications in NetSuite and investigate unallocated receipts
• Issue reminder and legal notices based on Credit Control policy
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Managers, Finance, Legal, and billing teams to resolve discrepancies
• Monitor and report on potential bad debts and monthly performance metrics
• Assist in setting credit limits and managing customer credit card matters

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or Collections role
• Proven results in reducing debtor days
• Strong Microsoft Excel and IT skills
• Experience working with international companies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly under pressure
• Experience with advertising or marketing agencies is preferred
