Accounts Receivable and Billing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform daily invoicing
• Manage new client account openings, including reference checks and credit investigations
• Prepare and make bank deposits
• Record payments to various client accounts
• Maintain up-to-date accounts receivable tracking files
• Manage, analyze, and create credit notes
• Follow up on overdue accounts and perform collections
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial processes
• Provide support or replacement for the Accounts Payable Technician as needed
• Produce and send monthly sales reports to sales representatives
• Perform weekly bank trips

Requirements

• AEC or DEC in accounting
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in computer tools, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of Odoo software is an asset
• Bilingualism in French and English
• Strong organizational and priority management skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work autonomously
