Accounts Receivable Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable collections to maintain aging at 45 days or less
• Review delinquent accounts and contact customers via phone to negotiate repayment terms
• Process credit applications and analyze customer credit status to establish limits
• Maintain accurate customer records, including financial status and collection efforts
• Perform daily entries for checks and materials received and reconcile accounts monthly
• Ensure all customer payments are credited accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to support business objectives and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer service
• Post-secondary diploma or college degree in administration or a related field
• Fluency in both French and English to serve customers across Canada
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and strong computer skills
• Proficiency in Google Suite; experience with SAP or Oracle is preferred
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage high-volume workflows with attention to detail
• Excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain professional in fast-paced environments
