Accounts Receivable Agent

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable collections to maintain aging at 45 days or less
• Review delinquent accounts and contact customers via phone to negotiate repayment terms
• Process credit applications and analyze customer credit status to establish limits
• Maintain accurate customer financial records and make daily entries for payments received
• Reconcile and monitor accounts monthly to assess and improve customer performance
• Coordinate with third parties to facilitate collection efforts for overdue accounts
• Ensure all customer payments are credited accurately and in a timely manner
• Consult with the sales team to support customer satisfaction and loyalty

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or customer service
• Post-secondary diploma or college degree in administration or a related field
• Fluency in both French and English to serve customers across Canada
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume workflows
• Excellent conflict resolution skills and professional demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or Oracle
