Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and issuance of invoices to corporate clients, travel agents, and direct bill accounts.
• Monitor aging reports and take necessary actions to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare regular financial reports regarding balances, collections, and aging for management.
• Ensure all processes comply with hotel policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Resolve billing inquiries or disputes raised by guests, clients, or internal departments.
• Collaborate with Front Desk, Sales, and Reservations departments to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as Oracle, Sage, or QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client and internal relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the hospitality industry.
