Responsibilities

• Verify and accurately process supplier invoices in various accounting systems
• Validate invoiced amounts against purchase orders, goods/services receipts, or required approvals
• Identify and quickly resolve billing discrepancies or errors
• Perform reconciliation of supplier statements
• Follow up with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or finalize pending transactions
• Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal clients
• Ensure payments are made within prescribed deadlines

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Post-secondary education in accounting, administration, or a related field
• Proficiency in computer systems and accounting software
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of transactions
• Strong organizational skills, rigor, and autonomy
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingualism in French and English
