Accounts Payable Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the accounts payable team to foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Supervise the full AP cycle, ensuring accurate financial coding, timely processing, and proper approvals.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Oversee payment preparation and ensure compliance with internal controls and cash flow priorities.
• Act as a key point of contact for vendors to resolve complex issues, disputes, or urgent inquiries.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and data quality.

Requirements

• DEC in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable roles.
• Proven leadership experience with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Bilingualism in French and English (written and oral).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex priorities.
